My grand parents told me the story. that line of the family went to Pinnjara and got caught up in the Pinnjara war then moved on to Hope Valley as a founding family in that area. Apparently at least one of my relations is burried under the road from Freo to Rockingham.
I'll stick to oral history and wait for one of my computer savie relations to do the work and wants to share it..Although I did find on google a few years ago that someone with my last name was killed on the first zeplin bombing run in WW1.
