Mundine is obviously dumb or very arrogant. Can you imagine how much richer who could have been had he been smarter.
Instead of being so divisive, he had an opportunity to reunite (even more so than now). Australians love a champion and are very forgiving of champions. Had Mundine said and done all the right things over the years, his following would be x 100 of what it is now. He stupidly chose to divide people. Really, it is not a smart move considering aboriginals only make up a very very small percentage of our population. Instead of people laughing at him, he could have had a legitimate platform to speak for his people.
If he had done things differently, he could have been a legend of Australian sport. Unfortunately, he is a joke of Australian sport, which is a shame considering he is a very talented athlete.
