lork, a short is when someone borrows a stock from a broker and sells it on the market. They then make a profit by buying back the stock (closing out their position) when the stock moves to a lower price.

A large correction was inevitable for LNC given the price run from 60c to nearly $3. Shorters would have started going to town about $2.7.

This company simply has far too much cash burn and sloppy management to take a punt. hope you enjoyed the run while it lasted, there may be a short bounce but this stock is heading back to $1
