If there was a Labor majority government or a Coalition majority government this would be treated by the media and the right as nothing of great importance and would have soon been forgotten.

Same with thw AWU smear campaign if Julia Gillard was a private citizen no one would care very much and the zealots would not be still slinging the dirt.

Fact is both instances are nothing new both in the union movement and big business , Richard Pratt big Liberal party donor and John Howards mate committed a fraud on the people of Australia on scale of over half a billion dollars was fined a paltry (compared to the booty he collected) $38 Million and never went to jail. But who cares he was not in a union or the labor party or in a position to bring down the elected government, so it all ok.
