Well, all you can blame is Pharmaxis and the way they conducted the trials and then reported the results. Obviously the PADAC did not like the results even though they might think it works - you need proof - or they will be shunned should there be any issues with the drug.
Who knows what hurdles they will need to clear now. Even pressing ahead for approval for an 18+ recommendation I would have thought would be almost impossible by March. Although I wouldn't really know.
I just hope they don't have to go thru another 12-18 month re-trial - we will be waiting ages.
I would gather they will get feedback from the PADAC or FDA so they know exactly how to proceed in order to gain approval.
Hopefully they listen.
Fingers crossed but I must say short-term hope is fading.
Might have to close the book on this one for a while and wait a year or so - unless Robertson can pull a rabbit out of the hat!
Those entering at these levels (70c or so) are probably the lucky ones!
