MMG looked to be the logical choice to acquire Altona's Roseby prospect.

Altona were hamstrung, as you have pointed out in one of your earlier posts, by the Xstrata's option and did not establish a China office as CDU did to establish relationships and secure funding to develop Roseby as CDU did successfully with Rocklands.

It is a damn hard road to hoe to jump the hurdle from explorer to miner.

One would think with the way copper prices are holding up and with the resource Altona has that Roseby will be either developed or sold. Let us hope so for their shareholders' sake.
