Brisbane, ABIM (2/2) – Quest Petroleum NL plans to drill at least three wells in 2013 at Ranau PSC, South Sumatera after completing drilling contract on Kayumanis-1 well.
The company expects to execute the land access agreement on Kayumanis-1 well shortly to finalise drilling contract, mobilising rigs, and setting a revised spud target.
The company also said on its recent filing on ASX that it plans to “build a production base through acquisition of production assets with existing or near term cash flow.”
The Kayumanis-1 Prospect is one of 16 leads identified in the Ranau PSC with combined potential of up to 6Tcf or 300 mmbl oil. The prospect’s potential is estimated at up to 59 mmbbl or 340Bcf of gas.
