I tried Champix around 4 years ago, and they were helping. Anyhow the wife did some research, and the adverse reactions she found, scared me off them. This time, haven't told her, or anyone else, (other than on HC), so will see what happens.
Your earlier tips are the best way to go! When I worked in an U/G coal mine, it was no problem to go without a smoke for 8 hours.
Might go fishing/camping for a week in the bush, (without cigs.) as soon as the temp. drops a few degrees.
