Boy, i really opened up a can of worms by starting this thread. lol.

In the interest of your opinion, mr (or is it ms?) sdaji. In a somewhat delayed, but curious manner i seek your opinion on this. And whilst it is not directly related to AEB it is a clean energy topic and similarities and conclusions could be drawn that many could consider, when thinking of buying in a speculative stock such as AEB.

patent for a transmutation energy catalyzer, which is the late great 'e-cat'. low-energy nuclear reaction device (this does not go on the cold fusion theory, but for your understanding, it is a similar concept) currently wrapped up in the courts, due to a patent-ownership challenge.

Indeed your posts are the most critical of AEB, and this presents its merits and because they are non-anecdotal and to the point you begin to consider Algae tech in its entirety and whether or not they are likely to suceed.

it should be noted, however, for potential newcomers and people undecided on buying. that you have ignored looking into the technical aspects of the business. Specifically from the engineering perspective. The question you commonly front up is "If its soo good, then why isnt it running yesterday?". Like the previous poster (haka, i think) mentioned, in reference to the particulars of the biofuel formulation process.

Coming from an electrical & instrumentation trade, what we are looking at here is an industrial process that needs to be desgined on paper, both electrically, pneumatically, mechanically and chemically planned, constructed, not to mention the intricate process which is Loop testing and tuning and then refined a few more times to get correct and optimal control system response (and it doesn't sound like a bash and go setup, sounds very precise). This is all yada yada yada but the point remains that design and commissioning takes years to perfect, especially for newly developed processes.

the biggest point i believe, however, is that in Australia, we dont care about low earning green energy, unless it subsidises our power bill. Bio fuels are huge it seems everywhere but here, but in particular, europe.

as we are a mining, and oil and gas giant in my opinion we aren't as desperate for the revenue. It seems our economy's future is settled with Chevron's and Apache's LNG plants

Hence the Nowra showcase facility, a small scale 'demo' plant to illustrate the potential yield and biodiesel/bio-oil quality. an attempt to sell the technology to interested people like the local defence lads, who just had a look the other day. FYI, thats the announcement we are waiting for (just in case you hadn't done the research)

In summary, i think that algae tec don't have the following they deserve from the Australian government and dont get the exposure they need. And i think that they've hung in there for the past x years without it, and have survived, and this says that they have the goods and will come through. This year will be a good one (tax credits, government sponsorship, third party validation, MOI lufthansa, holcim, australian defence force, china, selling escrowed stocks for capital raising, 12 mil cash refund, and the genral shift of consciousness towards a greener future, with big demand overseas)

Anything i missed? please share the knowledge

Tcorp, where you at? drop the bomb mate. The village-idiots need the education
