Worth a look, EEG market cap is mostly (or more...) backed up by current resources, oil and gas production and their NT lease next to AJQ which has been breaking out towards 40c. However the big potential short term is another window of opportunity for New York to ditch their fracking ban during Febraury. The ban has been kicked down the greeny road since 2008, rejecting plans to potentially replicate oil and gas produciton in NY state vs its southern neighbours. EEG holds significant leases in NY which would make a material change for the company if the ban was lifted.
No guarantees, south africa and the UK have recently overturned frack bans, but France and a smattering of other EU countries and other states remain opposed. If NY kicks the frack ban once again down the road then the downside for EEG is probably a few cents (or nothing depending on AJQ news), upside could be a mini AUT over the medium term. Mac bank is very supportive.
