Perhaps your right nihilism. I would understand that given your stock disclosure that this is the option that you would go for.
But can you think of a better way of reducing the 30 day VWAP for those 20 million shares you were after. And i am not implying that this is the case but if you were to do the hypothetical numbers.
Sell 13.5 mill for 1.6 million. Hope to drop the 30 day VWAP to a lower price than your sale price and then scoop up your 20 mill at what you hope will be a lower price.
This director appears to have a strong set of moral values so this is probably not the case.
