I recall him claiming Lindermans Bore could employ 30,000 people and it employs zero. But he did do well at the time by selling into the frenzy that he helped to create.
No mention of the gold plant and financial review article - maybe hoping it just goes away and can be written off and never delivered/seen/verified.
