Europe is banning the burqa and we are moving toward making it compulsory :) -- well, at least we are starting with the hijab.
why can't it be compulsory for them to wear a slouch hat or something ------------
bloody hell, if we set up a school in Afganistan - what are the chances of getting them to wear bikini's, one pieces or speedo's on pool day?
I like people from other nations - and I like them becoming aussies and I have many friends from other countries and religions -----------
but for god's sake we must have the most gutless set of leaders and officials here atm (all parties, they are all the bloody same)
----------- people who come here should fit in with us -------- it's called integration.
I wish our pollies would start rorting travel overseas a bit more instead of rorting taxi fares and brothels with their credit cards ------------------
TRAVEL and see what is happening in the Netherlands, Britain, France --------------
you don't have to look any further - problems with integration are manifest ----------
we definitely do NOT need to encourage it - we need to 'dissuade it'
If I go into a church overseas - I take my hat off - even though I think that courtesy is way way out of date and stupid anyway ------- but, I do it out of respect. My partner covers her head in a Muslim country out of respect.
How about the same respect here ----------- in Australia - our country, our rules.
