There is a company that wants to use UCG to make cheap fertilizer for Aussie farmers instead of the expensive stuff we currently import.

I'm not sure of the name of the company offhand but I just remembered that I heard a recent audio interview where they seem confident of a successful UCG outcome. Prob around november, december last year.

The Carbon energy trial is not operational at this point in time but I think the trial was successful.

What I find slightly irritating is Carbon and Cougar both seem more advanced with Chinese companies than LNC is. Carbon's 10M payment from a Chinese coal company is imminent. Although i'm not reading into this too much and its not really worrying me, I feel LNC needs to take a slight hit JUST financially JUST to get the first project off the ground in this key region and then other things will follow. I think they are bargaining too hard. Off course in China it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that we protect our IP but lets just get some UCG off the ground.

We might be the World leader in the technology but we need to be one of the first to show a UCG commercial operation with our technology. If we are then other companies that have trapped coal that is unmineable will suddenly think "Wow these guys have a way to monitize this coal - lets get in contact".
