I don't think the Liberal Party's connection with Wilders via Corey Bernardi will affect the parties electoral prospects.
Tony Abbott has side lined Bernardi and Bernardi himself has distanced himself from Wilders
GEERT WILDERS: Well, I met Mr Bernardi in Holland. I believe you are in an election now. I believe it might be more difficult for him to meet me now. I think he doesn't intend to do that. I understand that this is politics. The friend from yesterday can have an argument not to see you tomorrow. It's sad but true.
Personally, I wish tony Abbott would adopt many of Wilder's party policies
Imagine a party with conservative economic policies based on balancing the budget with a turn back the boast and anti islamic immigration policy. It'd be great.
But within the politically correct environment here in Australia, adopting such a political stance would be tantamount to electoral suicide.
