I think the answer is even simpler. AMX is your classic "elephant country" exploration play. The sp has dropped right off over last 2 years compared to say a PIR because AMX's results since late 2011 have not matched the high expectations created by the early very exciting finds. However, true believers in AMX believe in the potential of AMX's ground and in Kitto and believe the results coming out soon and during 2013 will be sensational and see AMX back at or well above its previous highs. If the results are good enough, the sky's the limit.
There is a backlog of forthcoming results and AMX has plenty of money to do more work with $30m in bank and a $12m exploration budget for 2013.
