    1. Energy Metals issued 12 million shares priced at 25 cents each in the IPO.


    The shares started trading at $1.00.

    2. The company has a portfolio of prospective uranium projects in the Northern Territory and Western Australia, which it acquired from junior explorer Jindalee Resources.



    EME Chairman Ross Kennedy said there was strong demand for uranium as people realised the environmental impact of using fossil fuel for power generation.


    "Energy Metals has assembled a portfolio of advanced projects prospective for uranium and the company is committed to exploring and developing uranium deposits in a responsible manner," Mr Kennedy said.

    3. The Bigryli project in the Northern Territory, which Energy Metals has a 53 per cent stake in, will be the initial exploration focus.



    4. exploration has outlined high-grade uranium mineralisation and Energy Metals said the potential for further discoveries was very good.

    It has allocated $1.6 million to Bigryli for exploration over the next two years.
