Thanks for that post greiner99 - I completely missed that article.
There seems to be a definite swing in the mood of companies towards doing a bit of investing, as opposed to cost cutting, and it seems investors are starting to see things this way too - WBC aside - their fundies should have their a%sses kicked.
Even as a benificiary of these events I'm still a bit peeved that CDR are dragging the chain with iBurst. They don't seem to realize that it is the thing that separates them from all the other middle-tier commcos and makes them a more interesting takeover target. Look at the hype that surrounds UNW for example - iBurst has a far superior product and business model. So why has the rollout stopped - not even a statement regarding their strategy?
Good value for the lucky buyer though.
