bigham clarification

I just wanted to clarify some of the latest Bigham discussions. There had been a couple of postings on the other blog that rexsh linked about possible flaring at the Bigham 1H location. Then someone else was wondering about whether the activity could be at Bigham 2H and where that might be located.

The Bigham 2H plat as filed with the Texas Railroad Commission last October as part of the 2H permitting process. 2H is permitted to be about 1/2 mile east and just a little north of 1H.

Concerning flaring and nighttime activities. Ms. WI and I were in Moulton Friday night and drove by Bigham on the way back to SBG. There's a place on Smith-Marek Rd. where there's a view of Bigham 1H from about 1/8 mile distance. Friday night at 9:00pm there was no obvious activity that would cause additional lighting anywhere in the area. However, the flaring has resumed and going from memory, the flare location is in the same position as it has always been.

On Saturday I went and looked over my back fence at the downstream pipeline connection (picture previously posted) just to see if there was any pipeline work being done that would require the flaring. There was no sign of activity for quite some time.

So I cannot verify any night time activities, but can verify that there was flaring at Bigham 1H on Friday night at about 9pm. That's all I know.
