missB, I know you are joking about being able to name our own price next week, but let me share my thoughts on why.
In today's market, it's not enough to have a mountain of gold or silver. A company has to be producing truck loads while paying good dividends, and it has to demonstrate that it can continue to do so for years, with massive reserves which can be mined at low cost.
This is a market full of doubts. There are many companies with very good prospects which are languishing with share prices at ridiculously low prices, compared with the riches in their leases.
Price manipulation by the big players and very jittery retail investors who are in the market for a quick profit are holding prices down IMO.
I am in IDC because I believe Mt. Kare is the goods, and I think a takeover is a strong possibility.
