I'm happy Deutsches Bank is cautious. I am also confident that Lynas will inexorably progress such that the negative sentiment of investors such as DB change their minds...They will see a new industry..not Fe not Au not wheat become established as it must for the needs of the world re REE in the years to come.
China..are they going to rip their environment apart knowing what they now know with village producers to get the price down and put Lynas out of business...no. Is the REE industry via the Govt going to be used to flood the market and do to Lynas what it did to Moly Mk1 and consume the reserves that they plan on for 25-50 yrs just to get electonic industries into China. No
Even if they do the memories of the other SE Asian countries at potentioal geographical logger heads with China would rather China have no leverage politically with strategic materials..hence the keeness to get non Chinese supplies..=freedom. Pay a little extra for freedom and a better product..I suspect they will. Just saying.
