The evidence for the historical accuracy of the bible just keeps piling up. If you are prepared to get your science from TV (in this case a program setting out to discredit Israel's biblical claims to the land) you will end up believing stuff like the Chariots of the Gods or that the moon is made of cheese. It seems to me that the only way to get a reasonably accurate idea of the state of things( in any discipline) is to do a bit of research and look at all the evidence. Just like the stock market it is easy to be fed a pup if you are lazy and want someone else to do your thinking for you.

It seems that those Archeologists who have a vested interest, for one reason or another, in discrediting the bible as a useful historical document are prepared to accept other ancient histories on much flimsier evidence. I read recently that only one artifact with the name of Julius Ceasar has ever been found. I find that incredible and will follow it up. On these archeological grounds surely we would have doubt the the existence of Julius Ceasar? A bit silly isn't it.
