How many of you guys complain everytime etrade goes down, threaten to switch brokers but are back here complaining next time? There is only one way to truly pass the message and that is to switch to a more reliable platform. If you don't, then put up with the sub-standard service which etrade charges a premium for.
Disclosure : I am a long suffering etrade client and have lost thousands of dollars over the years due to their inability to provide a reliable trading platform - unfortunately I think their etrade pro platform is much easier to use than the iress ones so I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place
