In all fairness, Senecio was a single frac stage at 2500m.

A2 is a much more complicated operation.

Sure they could have done either 1 or 2 stages in the most prospective targets, but if 1 or more of them failed or didn't live up to expectations... How long before the frac spread would return, to have a go at other formations. Not to mention the additional cost. From where I sit they are all prospective & worth the time to investigate.

The main hold up was oil flowing from the highest zone. I wont go into all the arguments over the time lost once this "suprise" occured because I think its been done to death.

At least at the end of this testing program, we pretty much haven't left anything "in the hole" to later wonder about what could be. If were gonna do it, let get it done properly.

The remaining zones are dry gas, so should clean up reasonably quickly.

Re Caringynia. I didn't have high hopes, considering AWE hasn't really mentioned anything how their testing went at Woodada since intial flow, so assumed it was a dud. Although it is the upper Caringynia so diff zones pretty much to A2. There can be alot of variability over 2-300m of formation & dozens of KMs away in distance.

To already have a measured flow & a decent looking flare I think it looks the goods. Though seems some of the outlandish flow predictions thrown around here in the past have gone quiet... surefire way to disappoint yourselves!!

I also suspect that despite what PM said in an interview, they are flowing both zones (Middle/Lower Caringynia) Wouldnt be the first time there has been a slip or misinterpreted technical detail from an MD. But I stand to be corrected on this, just my gut feel.

Looking forward to cleaned up flows from Caringynia in the next week or two, lets have a stab 600mcf. See I wont be too disapointed I hope! If it gets anywhere near the magic 1mmcf I will be over the moon & they should get a horizontal in there pronto!!!

Silly me also topped up at .048 before the recent announcement, harsh market at the moment, I can't spare anymore. But I will probably happily part with some around 6 or 7c in a few weeks to share the love around.
