Only interest for Lynas is who ends up with the Mt Pass plant, and for what purpose.
Molymet seems to be positioning but hard to understand any synergy with Mt Pass, may even be targeting Neo.
Mt Pass will take huge write downs and position to the US autocat & FCC markets with Ce/La and Nd/Pr remaining the key profit centre, no doubt under fresh equity, and provided their Chlor Alkali delivers close to the stated CoP.
