Omgwen3rds and Ausheds: Thank you very much for your clarifications. I am delighted by your insights as I have apparently been misinformed regarding the quality of REO products being produced by Lynas as compared to Molycorp. It stands to reason that Lynas will have a higher purity of Ree oxides than MCP based upon the supervision of Eric, the Rhodia engineers, and the Chinese consultants. Is Phoenix one not going to produce as high a quality of Reo products as Lynas? I thought it too was a state of the art facility that upgrades the previous old processing plant and makes it defunct. It is my understanding that they have suspended the construction of Phoenix two thinking there will be an oversupply of Lrees from both MCP and Lynas. I was unaware of the tolling ability of Rhodia for the Lynas Hrees contained in the current concentrated ore from the Mt. Weld facility. Are they indeed capable of performing that service? If so, then Lynas is in much better shape than I had forecast and the higher basket price of $38/kg might then be achieved!!!! If Lynas can also lower its COGS, profitability could be achieved later this year and we should cheer that possibility.
