Hi Tony, It was always a little befuddling to read the anonymous quote in the presentation, albeit somewhat reassuring. I am intrigued now that you have shone a light;
"Our scientists were delighted to meet you and inspired by your presentation. They would like to consider the collaboration. They will draft outlines of research plan and discuss with you to estimate the cost for collaboration."
Creating competitive tension between Big Pharma is always part of the sub plot. The knowledge that the top seven Japanese pharma will meet with the CFO at AsiaTIDES is an added twist.
I wonder whether the same scientists will be further inspired by Dr Hopkins next presentation particularly if he releases data on BEN_5000 which is being kept under wraps. Indeed, if Phylogica is waiting for the right moment to release an exciting breakthrough in medical science then AsiaTIDES could be the perfect venue.
Is the timing of the conference right for BEN_5000? Research seems to take forever, but then again its has been two years since Roche and Phylogica sat down to discuss in vivo trials for their lead candidates. Nothing seems to happen until everything happens at once.
