Soho, my understanding is very little RE magnets have been used in wind turbines to date because at the stage they were being designed in they priced themselves out.
I've posted previously the calcs of a Chinese magnet producer setting the economic threshold at $85kg Nd & $630kg Dy, I imagine China domestic.
Well within that now so if they have confidence on pricing stability I imagine they are being designed back in.
Good example of what damage has been done by the price bubble and the investment market has been very slow to catch on.
