A truer word was never spoken flashharry, perhaps you'd like to buy the whole company, only $9M mate, even 51% will give you control, add in a premium for takeover, say $6M and you can run it!

Seriously though, we've had a severe shortage of positive news the last 6 months (in fact a shortage of any news, can't be just because of the wet season can it?), absolutely nothing to give any impetus to the sp. Also I agree with abitlikeme that recent nepotism hasn't helped the sp one iota, investors like to see companies looking after their shareholders not their families, a very bad look IMO.

And on the news front you'd think that Peter would have a lot more time on his hands to communicate with shareholders these days, after all he's got rid of looking after Tasmania. Speaking of which, begging letters from Bob McNeil re investing in Torque don't help - what Bob forgets when he tells me he's putting $300K into Torque shares is that he'll eventually get it back through salary whereas the chance of my getting anything back, on past results, isn't good - and I'm very averse these days into putting more good money after bad. If you have to beg to even get an IPO off the ground, what chance is there for an initial listing at a premium? Stupid idea to spin it out in the first place!

Finally, from my depths of despair, these days I sort of compare the past announcements from Peter with those of our current PM - full of hope and promise but very little substance - eventually it may all come to nought!
