Ofcourse Im not suggesting this. not at all, but its worth thinking about.
However I feel that this limit of ability (to force down the price) may have been reached, and accumulation at this level could start to take place given the announcements... and the (majors interest in said DTE) all the above is just speculation and/or just my opinion.
Remember part takeover offers... often work on a (often 30-35%?) premium above VWAP taken from a period of specific time.
Given the known company announcements this scenario is worth considering as is your average buy in price.
