Assistant Management Accountant Linc Energy is focused on both conventional and unconventional oil and gas production. The company owns a diverse and world-class commodity portfolio that includes oil, gas, shale and coal.
Conventional oil and gas is focused onshore USA (Alaska, Texas, Louisiana and Wyoming) with current production expected to grow significantly from the Company’s existing reserves.
Unconventional oil and gas is focused on our world leading capability in Underground Coal Gasification, the process of converting coal into a valuable synthetic gas insitu.
Linc Energy has constructed and commissioned the world’s only UCG to GTL demonstration facility. The Company also owns and operates the world’s only commercial UCG operation in Uzbekistan, which supplies syngas to a nearby power station.

The Finance department is currently seeking an enthusiastic, driven Assistant Management Accountant to join the team.
Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:
•Financial Month End tasks •Assist with review and analysis of monthly results •Maintain the monthly reporting timetable •Accounts receivable for all Australian and UK entities •Assist with project accounting and reporting •Provide support with budget and forecasting functions •Assist with the development and testing of new reports
The ability to grasp new concepts quickly and demonstrate ongoing attention to detail is crucial to this role.
To be successful, you will have:
•Completion or close to completion of a relevant accounting degree •2 -4 years' experience in a corporate accounting environment •Experience with general ledger and sub-ledger account reconciliations •Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint •Experience with Ellipse or similar ERP is preferable
This full time, permanent role is based at the Linc Energy offices in the Brisbane CBD.
