re: Ann: Interim Financial Report for the hal... Real shame with that KGL Bruce.
I gave it three years. Good deposit but it just couldn't get past that political barrier.
You would think common sense would have prevailed but goes to show how different cultures can be a problem for foreign investors. Especially with that corruption.
KGL was the main reason I gave up on overseas focused explorers.
To think they were fully funded on Andash and Atkash was waiting as well.
What a waste.
As long as I can find good investments in Australia, I'll stick with Australia.
I got away with political risk often enough with Andean, Equinox etc.
I guess it had to catch up sooner or later but I was lucky enough to find ABU which made me want to switch before the Centerra problem surfaced and KGL really started to dive. I made money on it trading part holdings on the larger moves and I was fortunate enough to have sold the rest without a loss.
I guess that's an example of a stop loss that has nothing to do with the charts.
I sold in the end because just when everything looked positive for a go ahead, another significant delay!
That was when it dawned on me that the political risk was too high for me to keep holding any longer.
