One thing I was hoping some other holders of MVT might be able to clear up for me. Presently the post tax NTA is much lower, then pre tax indicating if MVT were to liquidate the portfolio there would be a bit of tax due.
However this suprises me a little given that when Brierly initially appeared in MVT, the news stories suggested that inside the vehicle their were over $8 mill in tax losses he could utilise in the future to offset against potential gains. In fact this is what was said attracted him to the company. However if this was the case, why is the post tax NTA so much lower than pre tax right now, it all does not seem that clear to me?
