Well another announcement that should have had the price go a lot higher but didn't. When I seen the announcement just as I turned on the computer this morning, I thought that we are in for a great day, but really didn't do a lot.
Then I seen Rorkes had posted ,and also had a dig at Mitta3 whose posts I have always thought had a lot more substance than his/ hers, and knew there and then not much was going to happen. (nothing personal Rorkes)
So after today, I have just come to the conclusion that the price has nothing about shorters that many seem to be always bleating on about, nor does it have anything to do with the way it is run by NC as suggested by many (although I must admit, he got it "right" when he sold that large parcel a while back), I dont even think SMSL are contributing to the price being so low, the up coming election in Malaysia may have a small part to do with it, but I suspect not, as by all accounts the ruling party will get back in, nor has it been influenced by rockets or champagne corks (well except it tends to go down after these appear), no, now I am convinced we are where we are purely and simply because of the basket price of Rare Earths.
No conspiracy theories for me, this is where its at, and until the price of these improve, we aren't going anywhere in a hurry. Time to put in the bottom closet, and try to get over the loss i am sitting on right now, but luckily I don't have to sell, so its only a paper loss, and wait until such time as the basket price goes back up. Until then, I'm over it!!!
