Semafo's share price has enjoyed a circa 25% boost since the new discovery, which is good to see. Good to see that the market will still reward a successful growth story , and one that grows organically.
AMX are focused on getting into production asap. Keeping it lean and mean , then go out and find the "next big thing". Don't follow the majors model of "growth at all costs" - look where that has got them. Look at where it has got GRY , trying to be everywhere at once in west africa. Getting punished for a lack of focus and no points on the board away from Banfora.
Focusing on the main asset will see AMX do very well.
Get the mine up and paid for , return some $$ to share holders whilst growing the company organically through new discoveries. Turn Batie west into a cash cow = investor will be climbing over themselves to get in.
They should release a dividend policy and target early on . ie. Dividends to begin in ~2016 , give the market something to chew on and show that they're not planning on being just another cash burning gold juggernaut.
