...this is how today panned out.
As late as 5.40am this morning, the following forecasts could not even get it right:
Both BOM and Weatherzone.com.au (obviously copied from BOM):
Sydney forecast.
Cloudy. Patchy rain, becoming widespread around midday. The chance of thunderstorms. Winds north to northwesterly 15 to 20 km/h tending northwesterly in the morning then shifting southerly 25 to 40 km/h in the late afternoon.
What actually happened? No rain this morning. Very light drizzle from around 2pm. No thunderstorms.
If they cannot even get their forecast right for the next 7 hrs, what hope is there?
