The majority of posters so far think...the announcement will be positive because of the volume of gas expected to be at Heron....

The blocking batsman gave u an accidental hint by his laughter....surely if he had been advised that Eni had walked...the whole Meo office would be totally in sadness and a jovial laugh would be much harder to get out...or did he laugh because of the number of tricked Meo shareholders that are still holding.. When I rang he said that an announcement would come out on Friday....and that the extension was due to time needed to get the decision through Eni board work load.

The quickest decisions that boards make are in the negative..because they decrease risk and money spent...no budgets to approve or ifs and maybe to consider. However to push spending millions and taking risk the boards need champions of the Projects to convince and put there reputations on the line...justifications....to take blame if things go wrong...ie the current review at Meo re the failed drills...somebody to be a scape goat..for failure.

Lets analyse the today's trading for hints...

The price climbed to 9cents early in morning trade...with volume... thenlater on the afternoonish time the price dropped quickly with volume down to 8cents....the price recovered again at the late afternoon and settled with a small decrease....

To me this means that people expected a positive announcement early in the day but got disappointed and sold later when the Ann did not eventuate...but still held a positive outlook....this opinion is also supported by the sellers who pulled their sell orders also thinking a positive Announcenent wii come..you can see on the sell side ...it wont take a lot of demand to get to 9.5cents. Compared to the volume required to drop down to 7cents.

I bought some in the afternoon on weakness as I continue to do.

Anyhow no trade till Monday so it doesn't matter what we do ....but I for one believe that Eni will continue.

If I am wrong then Prostate man and screwed crude bring it on.
