Sludge: "the big question is why have we sold down so much"
I don't know, but it is nothing to do with the events around Liulin. This information about China Gas - in my opinion - would likely increase rather than decrease the sp.
Time to be happy about a very small part of DTE being independently valued at several cents per share.
The source of the info relating to the dispute came from Fortune Oil documentation that I can't find in the public domain, but has been referred to in the public domain.
If Dart were in IPO discussions that needed to stay confidential, then that could explain a lack of announcement. ( in the course of my work, I often sign non-disclosure agreements which limit what I communicate to anyone - much less make a public announcement. The same would apply to DTE management.)
I trust DTE management and if at any point I stopped trusting them, I would sell. (Why would anyone invest in a company they don't trust?)
