If you look at the action from $2 to the $2.60 high it was very choppy, thats never a good sign and can indicate topping behaviour as prices struggle to make new highs and volatility comes in (usually picks up at market bottoms and tops) true there were some good quick trades to be had in there but I would have been on the alert for any failed high or lower low. The imminent change in trend was confirmed on 31st May 2011 imo with that massive high volume day narrow spread going nowhere. That was the warning to get out. Did anyone relying solely on FA get a signal then? I bet it was a good news day too.
Fooled by the news again.
