And for the record, Shane Watson's opening batting average is 43. And as you will be aware, it could have been much more if he had converted a lot of his 50's into 100's. So, since Matthew Hayden is arguably our best ever opener at an average of 50, I'd say Shane Watson deserves a little bit of credit and acknowledgement for his worth to the Australian team as a batsman.
