It's a fantastic announcement that will be well received by the audience of the presentation. The somewhat ignorance to the announcement is something to expect on occasions when investing in biotechs. It's happened many times before and likely to happen many times again.
PBT is firming up as the lead takeover target of all ASX biotechs and it would not surprise me at all if such an event takes place after Phase II results are released (of course, given they are successful).
