We definitely have a different view on the technical side. Even though I'm sceptical about technicals (and pretty much everything else), I see some validity in their use. The technical picture surrounding the recent low was what gave me the confidence to dip into the piggy bank to buy more.
Thanks too Smart Missile, though I'm not sure about Hess. I still think Woodside are most likely, with some possibility of BHP, Santos or Shell, though Hess are already active in the Basin and maybe they like what they've seen so far.
After the election things should start to become clearer.
And I'd like to be a fly on the wall of a shorter's office if we see a Trading Halt announcement in the next few weeks which does not contain the words Capital or Raising. Imagine having a couple of days to wonder what the opening price will be!
