    Due diligence investigations were completed by the independent technical, market, legal and other consultants engaged on behalf of the financiers. Those investigations confirmed the Company’s view that there are no material issues affecting the development or financing of the Boikarabelo mine.

    The Company continues to assist the financiers with respect to enquiries arising out of their approval processes. The Company does not anticipate any significant delay in the completion of the credit approval process.


    Like someone else posted previously, these kind of statements could amount to legal fraud if they weren't true.

    I'm pretty sure demand for coal will be around well into the next few decades also. What alternatives provide a cost-effective and reliable solution? Coal is cheap, abundant and easily obtained.

    You might have a point about SA politicians not caring too much about local electricity production though (hence why Eskom are dragging their heels so much). It seems as though it takes a LOT longer than anticipated to do anything in SA.
