its government policy you know. if a young aussie wants to be a doctor she will rack up a 200k hecs debt. a 3rd world doctor can come to oz easy, leave his village back in india etc. with no medical help. then buy houses in oz with fhbg and negative gearing tax dodge. the goverment actively discourages education but gives money to speculate on housing.
