I was a labor supporter once.
I rang her staff and asked what powers under the constitution are you using to make the laws with respect to carbon tax.
The didnt know. They said, "we don't need the constitution to make law".
It's not taxation power, so what powers would they be using. It can't be treaties or external affairs.
Labor make it up as they go along.
