Beach Petroleum Limited ("Beach") is pleased to report on December
Quarter 2002 activities as follows:
SIGNIFICANT EVENTS
* Commencement of oil production from Sellicks-1 in the South
Australian Cooper Basin.
* Successful oil development wells drilled at, and commencement of
production from, Bodalla South-14, Kenmore-27 and Acrasia-3.
* Quarterly production rate increased to 2,571 barrels of oil
equivalent per day.
* Drilling success rate of 75% from the 8 wells drilled in the period
July-December 2002.
* Drilling scheduled to recommence in the second quarter of 2003,
with up to 12 wells planned.
* Native Title Agreements signed for block CO2000-C in the South
Australian Cooper Basin.
