average US$66.54 a barrel in 2H05, down from a previous forecast of US$69.
"Market tightness still prevalent but the impact from external shocks
(hurricanes) has been muted." Woodside (WPL.AU) 2005 profit forecast down 3% to
$A1.05 billion, 2006 down 6% to A$1.65 billion. Santos (STO.AU) down 5% in 2005
to A$635 million. Oil Search (OSH.AU) down 4% in 2005 to A$295.2 million.
Hardman (HDR.AU) FY06 NPAT forecast down 7% to A$61.7 million. (MCE)
