AP Eagers AGM this Friday - reported more than a m APE reported a strong result to shareholders more than a month ago.
What is driving the price of APE & APEO up at the moment is the constant increase in shareholding by the major shareholder Mr Nick Polatis's WFM Pty. Ltd.. Currently siting on around 40% of the company.
In April newspapers ran stories speculating 'corporate activity' in APE. That is term often used to describe 'take-over' activity.
If that is the case and with NTA of $4.33/share a much higher price for both APE and APEO should be ahead. You don't buy this kind of solid and profitable business without a good premium.
