FERGUS G,
I wasn't implying ~$50m a year BUT over the next 5-10 yrs! Based on the steel mills alone.
The assumption was a one off payment of $1m. Unfortunately, as I see it there does not appear to be an ongoing licence.
Kronos has paid a $6m licence fee and there was no indication of renewal fees after the plant becomes operational - unfortunately an unknown. The issue is that we do not appear to have much knowledge of what our income stream will consist of!
Sure, we will have other streams to complement the steel mills.
All going well, we will have at least $7m a year through Newcastle alone.
Forget the 'gold mine' at this stage. The question is, where will our ongoing income stream evolve from?
Hopefully some of the technical people here can give some more thought to this?
Regards.............
