"Typhoon season is generally during the rainy season in the Philippines. June through November will give you your rainy season and most typhoons. December through February is usually cool and dry while March through May is hot and dry. The island of Leyte and most southern parts of the Philippines like Mindanao are almost typhoon free because typhoon patterns are formed in the northern aspects of the Philippine islands."
